Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Tinstac LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the Unseeded mobile apps, watch apps and this website (together, the "Service"). If you have questions, email support@tinstac.com.
Information you give us
- Account details. Your email address, password, first and last name, an optional profile photo, the sports you play and an age range.
- Games and competitions. Scores, match results and stats you record, and the events, leagues and groups you create or join.
- Messages. Text messages you send to other players, in one-to-one Messages or in Huddles.
- Photos you choose to share. Your profile photo, group photos and any post-game photo (Poster) you create.
- Support and feedback. What you send us when you contact support or submit feedback, including any screenshot you attach.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and diagnostics. How the app is used, crash reports and performance data, along with device type, operating system and app version.
- Notifications. A device token so we can send the push notifications you turn on.
- Purchases. Your plan and subscription status. Payments are processed by Apple, Google or our payment processor on this website. We never receive or store your full card details.
How we use information
- To run the Service: keep score, run competitions, calculate Seed points and Ranks, and show your history and stats.
- To keep players safe: enforce our rules, act on reports and blocks, and prevent abuse and fraud.
- To send notifications you have turned on, and to reply to you when you contact us.
- To fix bugs, understand which features are used and improve the Service.
- To manage subscriptions, run our referral and partner programs, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
What other people can see
Other players can see your name, profile photo, the sports you play, your tier, your Ranks position and the results of competitions you play in. Groups you join can see that you are a member. Messages and Huddles are visible only to the people in the conversation, and to us when needed to investigate a report or enforce our rules.
How we share information
- Service providers that host our data, process payments, send notifications, process analytics and crash reports, and manage subscriptions for us. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- App stores (Apple and Google) to process in-app purchases.
- Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the safety, rights or property of our users, the public or Tinstac LLC.
- Business transfers, if Unseeded is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings. When you do, we delete your account, profile, messages and photos. Results of competitions you played in stay in other players' histories without your name. We may keep limited records to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent abuse. You can also request deletion by emailing support@tinstac.com.
Your choices and rights
- View and edit most of your information directly in the app.
- Choose who can message you, and turn notifications on or off.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it.
Depending on where you live (including California, other U.S. states and Canada), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or port your information and to appeal a decision we make about your request. To use any of these rights, email support@tinstac.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.
Children and teens
You must be at least 13 to use Unseeded. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn we have, we will delete it. Players under 18 can receive messages only from friends.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and security rules that limit who can read each record. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored there.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and let you know in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
